Leicester City limped to a 1-1 draw away at Mansfield Town this afternoon as their pre-season preparations continued.
The Foxes took an early lead when striker David Nugent bent the ball into the far corner from 20 yards, and they almost doubled their lead through Shinji Okazaki, but his shot was saved.
Mansfield levelled the score mid-way through the half when Dean Hammond conceded a penalty, and Matt Green comfortably converted the chance.
The hosts went closest to taking a half-time lead as Chris Clements struck the bar, although Okazaki went close again with a header.
After the break, Mansfield attacked and almost took the lead as Nathan Thomas let fly, but his shot was tipped wide by Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester struggled to create opportunities in the second half as Claudio Ranieri made a host of changes, and this disrupted the flow of the game as neither side found a winner.
