Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has claimed that he pulled off the greatest performance of his career to earn Mexico a valuable point against Brazil.
The 28-year-old, who is currently without a club after leaving French outfit Ajaccio at the end of last season, produced an inspired display in his side's goalless draw against the hosts in Fortaleza.
"We knew it was going to be a difficult match," Ochoa is quoted as saying by ESPN. "Brazil is always tough and in their home stadium. We knew they would give twice the effort but it is good point for us and good for us in this group."
Asked if it was the best performance of his career, he added: "I think so yes. To hold the world champions to zero it isn't easy. I am happy with that."
Mexico conclude their Group A campaign with a match against Croatia.
