Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has revealed that he hopes his team's defence can continue to improve in their last-16 match with the Netherlands.
El Tricolor have conceded just one goal in three matches in Brazil, and ahead of their fixture in Fortaleza, Ochoa has insisted that a tight defence is key to doing well in a major international tournament.
The 28-year-old is quoted by Sportal as saying: "I think that the defensive line has been shown to be key, because in such a short tournament, it is so important and essential to help you earn points, and to make a difference, we must continue on a single line.
"The team has been playing well and has grown, and hopefully in the next game, we will continue to grow."
Ochoa has reportedly attracted the interest of as many as 20 clubs after impressing in Brazil.
