Middlesbrough striker Kike has bagged a first-half double as the Championship favourites lead Bolton Wanderers 3-0.
Boro dominated from the start, with Wanderers goalkeeper Ben Amos forced into early saves from Stewart Downing and George Friend.
It took only seven minutes for the Teesiders to take the lead, as Diego Fabbrini fired home from long range on his home debut.
The Italian was involved again 10 minutes later, as his pass allowed Kike to open his account with a cool finish.
On the half-hour mark, the forward duo proved deadly once more as Fabbrini's deflected effort hit the bar before Kike put away the rebound.
