Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka is not yet sure if Jonathan Woodgate's latest injury is a serious one.

Veteran centre-back Woodgate has been rocked by long-term injuries throughout his career and came off at half time against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend with quad muscle problem.

He is now a doubt for Saturday's game against fellow strugglers Millwall, with Boro being as cautious as possible with his injury.

Boro have won just four out of 20 games this season and sit 20th in the table, three points above the drop zone.
