Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has urged his side to focus on only themselves in the race for promotion from the Championship.
The North-East side got their push to the Premier League back on track in midweek when they beat Bolton Wanderers at the Riverside Stadium days after losing to Leeds United.
Meanwhile, Karanka's men were boosted by Bournemouth's defeat to Nottingham Forest, which has given them a three-point cushion in second place from the playoff spots.
Karanka told the club's official website: "Everyone is going to lose points because we all know how difficult this league is.
"Now we have to think about ourselves because we have to win our games and if we do that, we'll be at the top.
"I don't want to think about what is going to happen in a few months' time. I will concentrate on the Sheffield game first, Millwall after that and then Nottingham Forest."
Boro face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough later today.
