Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has insisted that this season's results against Norwich City will count for nothing in their Championship playoff final.
The two sides meet at Wembley this afternoon with a place in next season's Premier League on offer to the winner.
Middlesbrough beat the Canaries home and away during the regular season, but Karanka says that they must not dwell on past results.
"I think both games were different," he told Sky Sports News. "The game here they were not in a good way and we beat them 4-0.
"I think it's going to be impossible to beat them 4-0 again because they have very good players, who were playing last season in the Premier League at the time we were fighting to stay in the Championship.
"The game away, they were attacking us for 60 or 70 minutes, so I don't think because we beat them twice we're going to beat them a third time. If we go into the game thinking it's going to be easy because we beat them twice, we are making a big mistake."
Middlesbrough last played in the Premier League in 2009.
