Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah has submitted a transfer request, according to reports.
The 27-year-old was left out of Tuesday's 2-1 win at Burton Albion in the League Cup, with manager Aitor Karanka seemingly reluctant to speak of Adomah's future.
According to BBC Sport, the Ghana international has made his desire to leave the Riverside Stadium formally known to the club.
Adomah has 18 goals in 98 games for the Teesside outfit since joining from Bristol City in August 2013 for £1m.
