Millwall and Blackburn Rovers will head into a FA quarter-final replay as their match at The Den on Sunday ended in a goalless draw.
It was a game of two halves, as a scrappy affair in the first 45 minutes gave way to intense end-to-end proceedings in the second period.
The first chance of the contest came after 22 minutes when Liam Trotter tried his luck from distance, but it drifted harmlessly wide.
David Bentley then fired a free kick straight into the wall, before Alan Dunne also tried and failed from outside the penalty area.
The half's only real chance came on 40 minutes when Adam Smith stood up a cross to the far post for Robert Hulse, who saw his bullet header rebound to safety off the inside of the post.
Both sides stepped up their game in the second period, with Jordan Rhodes shooting high from just six yards out on 47 minutes.
Ten minutes later Dan Shittu took an audacious attempt from 40 yards that Jake Kean just managed to tip over the bar for a corner.
Moments later Hulse failed to connect with Andrew Keogh's delivery from four yards with the goal at his mercy.
That miss almost came back to haunt Millwall in the 76th minute when Joshua King's header for Blackburn came off the post.
