Millwall manager Ian Holloway has claimed that Lee Gregory has the potential to become a cult hero at the club.
The 26-year-old has scored four goals, including the winner against Brighton & Hove Albion last Friday, since joining from Halifax Town in the summer, and Holloway is expecting the striker to continue improving.
"He's been a revelation," the Lions boss told reporters. "He's caught up with full-time players having come from three divisions down.
"I'm so pleased for him and I believe he could easily become a cult hero here, because we like an underdog, and quite rightly."
Millwall return to action against Bolton Wanderers on Friday evening.
