Ian Holloway: "I've let myself down"

Millwall boss Ian Holloway admits that he let himself down after being sent from the dugout during Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Blackburn.

Millwall boss Ian Holloway has admitted that he let himself down after being sent to the stand during his side's draw with Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.

Holloway was involved in an aggressive touchline scuffle with opposite number Gary Bowyer in the second half following a red card for Lions defender Andy Wilkinson.

Both managers and their respective coaching teams were eventually separated, but Holloway was dismissed soon after for his continued protests to the fourth official.

"I've let myself down because I told my lads I will fine anyone who reacts, but then I said something to the fourth official and he sent me off," he told BBC Sport.

"Then he seemed more worried about where I was than anything else, but I've never been sent off here so I didn't know where I was going.

"I got in the stand but I had to leave because of a yellow card they gave their fella, that was enough for me. So I managed to find my way back down to my office, put the telly on and watched the scores come in with a nice cup of coffee. We will be appealing absolutely everything that happened."

Millwall secured themselves a share of the spoils thanks to a late equaliser from Shaun Williams.
