Ian Holloway is delighted with the way that Andy Wilkinson has immediately adapted to life at Millwall.
The 30-year-old full-back joined the Lions on loan from Stoke City on Monday and made his debut in the 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic the following evening.
"Andy only arrived at the hotel on Monday night so didn't even have a chance to train with us out on the grass," Millwall boss Holloway told reporters.
"But he looked like he had been there all his life. Andy is a very good, experienced player and he really wanted to come here. I'm delighted to have him on board and he settled in brilliantly.
"He played his part in what was a good defensive performance overall. We could have done one or two things better in attack but you can see that we are improving."
Wilkinson has dropped into the Championship after only featuring once for Stoke this season.
