Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is confident that his side can still challenge for promotion despite their defeat to Hull City on Saturday.

An early mistake from defender Mark Beevers allowed Tigers midfielder David Meyler to score the only goal of the game and condemn the Lions to defeat.

Jackett told reporters: "I felt we put a lot of pressure on a very good Hull team. I think we were unlucky to lose the game and I felt we did well barring finding the goal.

"We're still in the playoff mix. There's 16 games to go and we'll keep going."

Jackett's side are 10th in the Championship table and are six points behind sixth-placed Middlesbrough in the playoff places.
