Reims put in a solid defensive display to hold Montpellier HSC to a 0-0 draw at Stade de la Mosson on Saturday night.
The point leaves La Paillade 13th in Ligue 1, while the away side move to fifth in the French first division.
Montpellier came the closest to taking the lead in the 37th minute, but Siaka Tiene's low drive from the left of the box was saved by the legs of Kossi Agassa.
Remy Cabella also came close just three minutes from the break, but he fired over the crossbar from the right side of the box.
