Montpellier have returned to winning ways in Ligue 1 with a 2-0 away victory over Nancy.
Nancy crafted the first chance of the match after just four minutes when Djamel Bakar tried his luck from a difficult angle on the right, but was thwarted by Geoffrey Jourdren.
Bakar then created a chance for Benjamin Moukandjo, who failed to keep his shot on target.
Souleymane Camara came close with a header for Montpellier in the 16th minute, before Lossemy Karaboue made an attempt for the hosts.
Montpellier looked the brighter of the two sides after the half-time interval, with Hilton trying to head home Marco Estrada's delivery.
Jamel Saihi and Camara then had chances for the defending French champions before Younes Belhanda shot home from outside the box in the 66th minute.
Camara ascertained the points for the champions in the final minutes of the match when he turned home Remy Cabella's pass from outside the box.
