Goals from Valentin Rongier, Youssouf Sabaly and Yacine Bammou ensured that Nantes picked up their fourth win of the Ligue 1 season with a 3-0 victory over Troyes this evening.
Benjamin Nivet might have got Troyes off to a great start after just three minutes, but he saw his shot saved down at the bottom-left corner by Nantes stopper Remy Riou.
The visitors continued to make chances in a lively contest, but they were wasteful once again when Fabien Camus shot straight at the keeper from the left side of the box.
It was Nantes who were able to take a lead into the break, however, after Rongier picked his spot from distance and lashed a standout solo effort into the top corner to put the hosts ahead.
Nantes proved quickest out of the traps in the second period and they soon found another goal thanks to Sabaly, who converted cleverly from the right side of the box following some neat work from Adrien Thomasson.
The game was soon out of sight for the visitors with just under 30 minutes to play, when Bammou made no mistake from just a few yards out to ensure that Nantes claimed all three points on home soil.
