Napoli midfielder David Lopez has claimed that his side should have beaten Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie this evening.
The Spaniard had headed the Italians into the lead, but a late goal from Yevhen Seleznyov earned the visitors a 1-1 draw at the Stadio San Paolo.
"I thought we controlled the game throughout and up until their goal it was a good result for us," Lopez told Sport Mediaset.
"Now we have to react and try to win the next game. It was difficult to play against Dnipro, as they defend well.
"We created numerous chances and at the end of the day I don't think this is a fair result."
The return leg will be played in Kiev next Thursday.
