Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro has insisted that his side's clash with Juventus on Saturday is not a title-decider.
The Naples outfit are in Turin for their Serie A encounter with the Italian champions, with both sides having picked up 19 points from seven league matches so far this season.
"Is it a Scudetto showdown? I hope that it can become that over time," the defender told Sky Sport Italia. "At the moment it is a challenge between the top two teams in the table.
"It is a very important match indeed, but in any case will not be decisive for the title. Perhaps it can set off that extra spark within us, that renewed awareness of our own potential.
"After all, Juventus dominated last season and ended unbeaten, so the statistics suggest they are the favourites."
Juventus and Napoli both are unbeaten in Serie A so far this campaign.
