Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has said that he is "proud" of his team's performance against Cagliari away from home on Monday.
Marek Hamsik's goal in the 73rd minute saw the Azzurri win their Serie A clash 1-0 at Stadio Sant'Elia.
"We had to score first," said Mazzarri. "And we did that. I am satisfied with the performance of my players.
"I could not ask for anything better from this group and I am proud to train them. Now we have to think about our next game against Pescara."
Napoli are now second in the league standings with 30 points from 14 matches, just two points behind leaders Juventus.
