Hellas Verona vs. Lecce (Saturday, 2.00pm)

After extending their unbeaten run by holding the champions last week, Lecce visit Serie A strugglers Hellas Verona on Saturday.

The Giallosrossi's 2-2 draw with Milan means their last competitive loss came back in October, but Hellas are some seven points adrift of safety with nearly half the season played.

Nine of Verona's 10 home goals in Serie A this season have come in the first half of fixtures, and they may need such a good start against in-form opposition. After an extraordinary week at Stadio Arechi, Serie A strugglers Salernitana host regional rivals and league leaders Napoli on Saturday evening.

Days after firing their coach following an 8-2 defeat, the Granata invited him to return, and Davide Nicola will be back in the dugout when their visitors from along the Campania coast come to town.

We say: Salernitana 0-2 Napoli

Serie A top scorers Napoli have recorded the most goals during the first half of games this season (21), while Salernitana have conceded the most in the opening 45 minutes (19). Given these sides' most recent league outings, that suggests the hosts can build a lead they will not relinquish and top up their tally with another three points.

Fiorentina vs. Torino (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Both beaten last weekend, two teams locked together on points in the Serie A standings clash on Saturday, as Fiorentina welcome Torino to Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Approaching their final fixture of the season's first half, the pair are perched just inside the top 10, but it would take a tremendous surge for either to reach the European places.
