Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has insisted that he is happy to stay at the San Paolo stadium despite speculation linking him with Barcelona.
The 26-year-old still has four years remaining on his current contract and has dismissed the idea of linking up with Argentina teammate Lionel Messi.
Higuain told reporters: "I am really grateful to Leo (Messi) for his kind words but I have a contract with Napoli that makes me very happy.
"The Partenopei club (Napoli) has always treated me very well since I arrived there."
Higuain almost completed a move to Arsenal last season before signing for Napoli from Real Madrid for a club record £34.5m.
