Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi has insisted that he wants to win trophies after completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 27-year-old brought a five-year stay at Napoli to an end on Monday, and he has expressed his delight at joining the Ligue 1 club.
"PSG's project really attracted me. I have the opportunity here to express myself at a club that's on the rise and that will continue to make steps forward. I have the chance to win titles here and I want to play a part in future successes," he told reporters.
"Ligue 1 is a very competitive league. It is a new challenge for me and I really like that. Paris Saint-Germain are a club where I can further develop. It's a club that will only become more important in the next few years. And Paris is obviously a city where everybody wants to live.
"[Javier] Pastore told me a lot of good things about the club and about the city. We talked about PSG when we were with the national team. I will try to have a close relationship with the fans, just like I had at Napoli."
Lavezzi scored 11 goals for Napoli last season.
