Napoli have reportedly identified Fernando Llorente as a potential signing as they look to bring in a new forward.
Despite his featuring regularly during the second half of last season, Llorente and Tottenham Hotspur failed to reach an agreement over a new contract.
Having enjoyed successful periods in Spain and Italy, the 34-year-old is an attractive option to clubs in La Liga and Serie A.
According to Sky in Italy, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is interested in signing the veteran on a free transfer.
However, the report adds that an approach will only be made if Napoli fail to secure the signature of either Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi or Real Madrid's James Rodriguez.
During his previous spell in Italy between 2013 and 2015, Llorente contributed 23 goals from 66 appearances for Juventus in Serie A.
