Napoli have reportedly opened talks with Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli.
The 20-year-old enjoyed an impressive spell on loan at Sampdoria last season and has been heavily linked with a transfer this summer.
According to Premium Sport, Romagnoli's agent has met with Napoli to discuss a potential transfer, and the club are ready to submit a bid of €28m (£19.4m) for his services.
Romagnoli made 30 appearances for Sampdoria in Serie A last season.
