Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal has warned his players not to get carried away following their emphatic victory against Spain.
The Dutch came from a goal down to beat the current holders 5-1 on Friday night, with Robin van Persie's equalising goal just before half time arguably the pick of the bunch.
"The pass from Daley Blind for Van Persie was fantastic, the finish was great," Van Gaal is quoted as saying by Sporting Life. "There was so much feeling. If you can make a goal in that way it's great; really fantastic.
"I did not expect that it would go this way, it could have been 6-1 or even more, and we had a very happy feeling. This is a nice start, but we have nothing.
"If we do not win our next game against Australia we have made no progress, but now we are obviously in a good position."
The Netherlands' clash with Australia takes place in Porto Alegre on Wednesday afternoon.
