An outstanding performance from goalkeeper Matt Reis earned New England Revolution a battling point against Sporting Kansas City at Livestrong Sporting Park.
The experienced Georgian was called upon six times as the title-chasing hosts dominated the contest.
Graham Zusi was first to test Reis, with a well-struck long-range effort. A Jacob Peterson header then forced a superb fingertip save from the 37-year-old.
Peterson was denied on two more occasions in the second half before Reis kept out Bobby Convey and Kei Kamara in the dying stages.
