Centre-back Steven Taylor has expressed his desperation to win a trophy with Newcastle United.
Taylor has spent his entire 10-year career with the Magpies but has yet to claim a medal for his efforts.
However, ahead of tomorrow's Europa League tie against Metalist Kharkiv, Taylor has confessed that he is keen to break his trophy duck in that tournament.
"I am desperate to win something. Hopefully this could be it. People say we have been playing weakened teams, but we haven't. We have got great players and we have to try to do as well as we can in every match we play," the Northern Echo quotes the 27-year-old as saying.
"There is more European experience in the squad now with the signings we made in January and we do have the young players that are good enough."
Taylor has made a total of 220 appearances for Newcastle.
