Hatem Ben Arfa has admitted that he would like to score more goals for Newcastle United this season.
The Frenchman netted four times in 19 appearances in the Premier League for the Magpies last season.
The 26-year-old told the Shields Gazette: "I hope to score more goals this season. Goals are important, whether they're special or not.
"I like to score from two yards, 10 yards or 20 yards. It doesn't matter. I am happy to score from two yards.
"The most important thing is to score for the team. It doesn't matter if they are special or not, I want to score for this club. When you score, you can win. When you don't score, you can't win."
Newcastle travel to Aston Villa this afternoon.
