Former Newcastle United midfielder Emre has been suspended by his current employers Fenerbahce, according to Milliyet.
The 31-year-old was seen arguing with teammate Cristian Baroni during his side's 2-0 win over Bursaspor last night.
The row is believed to have continued into the dressing room, where Emre allegedly tried to punch coach Aykut Kocaman in the aftermath.
No statement has been released by the club, but speculation suggests that he is facing a suspension.
His contract with the Yellow Canaries expires in the summer and Atletico Madrid are believed to be interested in signing him on a free transfer.
