Ligue 1 pair Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille are reportedly poised to make an official approach for frustrated Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez.
The 59-year-old is believed to have already been sounded out by numerous clubs ahead of the summer after stalling over agreeing a new deal with the Magpies.
PSG and Marseille are two of the clubs to have been in touch with the Spaniard's representatives, according to The Mirror, and he may take up one of their offers.
Benitez has refused to commit to United until he is given guarantees over adequate financial backing, leaving him with two months to run on his existing deal.
Thomas Tuchel is under pressure at the Parc des Princes following Saturday's Coupe de France final defeat to Rennes, while Marseille are undergoing a rebuilding project that has been bankrolled by American owner Frank McCourt.
