Newcastle United head coach John Carver has thanked the fans for the backing that they have shown this week, despite the club's current predicament.
Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Queens Park Rangers means that the Magpies go into the final day of the season two points clear of the relegation zone.
Carver has urged the fans to focus all their attention on supporting the team in the final match of the season.
"It's all been positive. People have supported what we are trying to do," Carver told BBC Sport.
"We need your support so whatever you think of me, Lee Charnley or Mike Ashley put it to one side. The post-mortem can come after the game."
