Newcastle United have reportedly sacked head coach John Carver.
First-team coach Steve Stone is also understood to have been dismissed from St James' Park.
Carver took temporary charge of the Magpies in January before signing a deal until the end of the season. The 50-year-old steered the team to Premier League safety on the final day of the campaign with a 2-0 win over West Ham United.
Former Derby County and England boss Steve McClaren has been tipped to become the next manager of the club.
