Alan Pardew's future as Newcastle United manager is reportedly in doubt due to a run of poor results and the sale of Yohan Cabaye to Paris Saint-Germain in January, which has led to him losing the confidence of some of his players.
The Sunday People claims that a club insider has talked of unrest among the playing staff and a lack of confidence.
The source was quoted as saying: "It's clear there is unrest in the dressing room. There is a lack of confidence throughout the club.
"Cabaye was our leader and inspiration. Don't be surprised if other players follow, especially some of our French contingent."
Newcastle face Aston Villa in the Premier League next Saturday.
