West Bromwich Albion have taken Newcastle United striker Adam Campbell on trial.
The 21-year-old is out of contract on Tyneside this summer, when he will become a free agent.
However, he has been offered the chance to impress West Brom manager Tony Pulis and got his stint with the Baggies off to a positive start by scoring in an Under-21 match against Arsenal last night.
Campbell, who has risen through the ranks at St James' Park, has had previous loan spells at Carlisle United, St Mirren, Fleetwood, Hartlepool United and Gateshead.
