Marcelo Brozovic is reportedly set to reject a transfer move to Newcastle United in order to stay with Inter Milan.
The Croatian international is under contract with the Serie A club until the end of the season which has led to speculation about his future with the team.
However, Nicolo Schira has reported that Brozovic is now set to turn down a potential move away from Italy in order to sign a new deal.
It was noted that the contract the 29-year-old is going to sign will keep him at Inter Milan until 2025, although he is set to earn less money than if he had joined Newcastle, who are interested in bringing him in.
The Magpies are hoping to persuade the midfielder to move to the Premier League offering him an £850k bonus, but that is something he is going to reject.
Brozovic has featured 15 times for Inter Milan this season in the Serie A, while he has also played in all five of their Champions League games, registering one goal.
