Both Pendikspor and Kayserispor will be looking to boost their survival hopes when they meet at Pendik Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts sit four points adrift of safety, while the visitors are four points above the relegation zone with five games remaining.
Match preview
Pendikspor's chances of survival were further dented by a 4-1 defeat to league leaders Galatasaray last time out, extending their winless run to three matches.
They currently occupy 19th place in the Super Lig table with 30 points, four from safety, having conceded the most goals in the league so far (68).
Ibrahim Uzulmez's side return to home soil this weekend to host Kayserispor at Pendik Stadium. However, their home form has not been great, picking up just 18 points - the second-lowest total for any team in the Super Lig this season.
Having lost three of their last four home games, including the most recent one against Istanbul Basaksehir, Pendikspor will be hoping to avoid successive defeats in front of their home fans.
Kayserispor fell 2-1 to Trabzonspor last time out, extending their winless run to six matches. Burak Yilmaz's side remain 14th in the table, level on 37 points with 13th-placed Ankaragucu, but are only four points clear of the relegation zone.
The Anatolian Stars have picked up just two points from their last six games, drawing twice and losing four. This worrying run needs to be addressed quickly to avoid being dragged into the relegation scrap at the season's end.
Yilmaz's men will face Pendikspor for only the second time in history on Sunday, having won their first ever meeting earlier this season by a score of 2-0.
Kayserispor are winless in their last three away matches, losing two and drawing one. However, securing a victory on their first visit to Pendik Stadium would be crucial to their survival chances in what has been an inconsistent season for the Anatolian Stars.
Team News
Erdem Canpolat is the only reported absentee for the hosts as he serves a match ban for accumulated yellow cards.
Umut Nayir is expected in attack once again, while Thiam, who is fourth on the Super Lig top scorer's chart with 16 goals, is expected to play from the left flank.
The visitors are expected to remain without Anthony Uzodimma and Majid Hosseini who are currently nursing long-term injuries, with neither expected back in the near future.
A front three of Stephane Bahoken, Aylton Boa Morte and Miguel Cardoso are expected to start once again.
Kartal Yilmaz, Mehdi Bourabia and Otabek Shukurov are the midfield three that should provide support for the attack while also protecting the back four.
Pendikspor possible starting lineup:
Canpolat; Asan, Ozturk, Akca, Sequeira; Ndiaye, Midtsjo; Akbunar, Kaya, Thiam; Nayir
Kayserispor possible starting lineup:
Bayazit; Kaldirim, Kolovetsios, Kocaman, Sazdagi; Yilmaz, Bourabia, Shukurov ; Boa Morte, Cardoso, Bahoken
We say: Pendikspor 1-1 Kayserispor
This relegation scrap is too close to call. Pendikspor struggle at home, but desperation might ignite them. Kayserispor are winless in six and lacking momentum. We expect a tense, low-scoring affair with a draw most likely the result.
