Real Betis forward Nabil Fekir has played down rumours linking him with a move to Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
Following the Saudi Public Investment Fund's successful takeover of the club last week, the Magpies have been linked to a whole host of potential new stars, with the Frenchman one of the latest to be touted for a move to St. James' Park.
Fekir quickly dismissed the rumours though, saying: "I don't think about the offers. I am very happy here. I am learning every day and I hope it can continue like this. The fans love me, it gives me a lot of joy and I want to give it back to them on the pitch," as quoted by The Mirror.
The 28-year-old has registered two goals and two assists across La Liga and the Europa League so far this campaign, taking his tally to 14 goals and 15 assists for Real Betis since arriving from French outfit Lyon in 2019.
Fekir also boasts a World Cup medal, having been a part of the triumphant French squad in 2018, and he has netted two goals for his nation.
