Newcastle United and Everton are reportedly both interested in signing Burnley defender Michael Keane when the January transfer window opens.
The 22-year-old joined Burnley on a permanent deal in January having spent the first half of the 2014-15 campaign on loan from Manchester United.
The centre-back has scored three times in six league games for Burnley this season and is seen as a key part of their push for a return to the Premier League.
According to The Sun, however, both Newcastle and Everton will test Burnley's resolve with a bid when the transfer window reopens at the start of 2016.
Keane, who has also had previous loan spells with Leicester City, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers, is said to be desperate for a return to England's top flight.
