Twente chairman Joop Munsterman has claimed that it is "unclear" whether Brazilian defender Douglas will remain at the club next season.
Newcastle United reportedly made a £4m bid for the 24-year-old last week, however, Munsterman has admitted that he is unsure about Douglas's future.
"It is unclear what Newcastle United and Douglas want exactly. Douglas says he wants to leave one week and the next week he wants to stay," Munsterman told De Telegraaf.
West Ham United and Fulham have also reportedly expressed an interest.
