Ronaldinho has revealed that he will actively seek a new club in 2016, after playing down suggestions that he is preparing to retire from the professional game.
The 35-year-old Brazilian, who has represented the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan during a successful career, has been without a club since his contract with Fluminense was cancelled in September.
The attacker recently insisted that he would not be retiring from the sport following his latest two-month stint and has now said that he will 'enjoy' time away from the pitch before returning next year.
"Next year I'll get back to playing, but I don't know where. Now, I'm only thinking about resting and enjoying my holiday. I really need it," Ronaldinho told Marca.
Ronaldinho, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, won the last of his 97 international caps in 2013.
