Louis Saha is hoping that his contribution to Tottenham Hotspur's bid to get back into the Champions League will earn him an extended stay at the club.
The Frenchman left Everton to sign a six-month contract with Spurs in January.
The 33-year-old has impressed in his time at White Hart Lane and a new one-year deal is believed to be a possibility. The forward is hoping that talks with the club will start soon after he has helped Harry Redknapp's side secure third place.
Saha told The People: "We need to win against Fulham as that will give us our best chance of having Champions League football next season.
"Personally I will do my best to help the team achieve that - and after this is done I will have the time to then sit down and discuss my future.
"When I arrived I knew the situation and was fully concentrated on the six months ahead. But that is nearly over now so we will sit down and discuss things. I'm pretty confident I could find something."
Saha is hoping for a call-up to France's Euro 2012 squad.
