Montpellier twice came from behind to secure a point in an entertaining 2-2 draw with Nice in Ligue 1.
The visitors started the game brightly, with Souleymane Camara firing just wide of the target early on.
However, it was the hosts who opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Timothee Kolodziejczak lost his marker to head home from a corner.
Nice continued to control the contest for the majority of the first half but they conceded an equaliser in the 34th minute when Camara took advantage of a defensive mix-up to slot the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
The home side managed to regain the lead that their play deserved just before half time thanks to a solo effort from Valentin Eysseric, who cut in from the right of midfield before drilling a low shot past Laurent Pionnier.
Montpellier once again equalised just seven minutes into the second half when Siaka Tiene stepped up to curl a free kick home from just outside the area.
Both sides pushed for a winner late on but a lack of composure in the final third of the pitch prevented the chances from flowing.
Montpellier were forced to hold on for a point in stoppage time after Djamel Bakar was shown a second yellow for a late tackle on Fabrice Abriel.
