Wesley Sneijder will reportedly undergo a medical with Nice on Monday as the experienced midfielder prepares to sign a contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Sneijder is available on a free transfer this summer after being released from Galatasaray, and the 33-year-old has been linked with a move to France over the last couple of weeks.
Speculation that the Netherlands international was close to joining Nice intensified when his agent Guido Albers was spotted at the club's Allianz Arena for their Champions League clash with Ajax late last month.
According to various reports in France, Sneijder has travelled to Nice over the weekend, and the midfielder will undergo a medical with Les Aiglons on Monday ahead of signing on the dotted line.
Sneijder, who is the leading appearance-maker for Netherlands on 131 caps, represented Galatasaray for the last five seasons - scoring 45 times in 173 appearances following a 2013 move from Inter Milan.
