Northampton Town have completed the signing of Peterborough United midfielder Kane Ferdinand on a month-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old, who joined Posh from Southend United in August 2012, has not made an appearance for Darren Ferguson's side this season.
Ferguson has said that the move to the League Two side is a good one for Ferdinand.
"It will benefit him that he gets at least a month, five or six games, at a competitive level," Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
Ferdinand could make his debut when Northampton travel to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
