Northampton Town have completed the signing of goalkeeper Shwan Jalal.
The Cobblers have swooped for the 31-year-old following their decision to release 20-year-old custodian Dean Snedker earlier today.
"We needed somebody in. I've known Shwan for a long time and he's an experienced goalkeeper that is at the right age," manager Chris Wilder told the club's official website.
Jalal, 31, had been a free agent for a short period of time following his release by Bury.
The former Bournemouth keeper has initially signed a contract at Sixfields until the end of the season.
