Norway and Scotland have played out a goalless first half in tonight's friendly between the sides in Molde.
There were some concerns before kickoff as to whether the match would go ahead due to severe weather conditions, but the groundsmen at the Aker Stadion managed to get the playing surface up to scratch in time.
The hosts had the best of the early possession, though Scotland nearly made the breakthrough on six minutes when Ikechi Anya's effort went off target.
Ola Kamara and Tore Reginiussen were then both denied by David Marshall midway through the first half before Charlie Adam saw his tame free kick saved.
However, chances were few and far between at either end of the pitch as the two teams looked toothless in attack.
The poor finishing continued towards the end of the opening 45 minutes when Magnus Wolff Eikrem fired wide of goal after the ball had fallen to him inside the box.
