Newly-promoted Premier League side Norwich City have revealed that Martin Olsson is recovering from shoulder surgery and could be fit for the start of the season.
The Swede underwent the operation shortly after the Canaries' playoff final victory over Middlesbrough at the end of May.
"There were a couple of games last season where he played through the pain," Norwich boss Alex Neil told the club website.
"We needed to make sure for Martin's sake that it stopped being an ongoing issue."
Olsson started 45 of Norwich's Championship games in their promotion-winning campaign last season.
