Norwich City manager Dean Smith has provided an update on Joshua Sargent ahead of Crystal Palace.
The striker had been expected to start in the FA Cup fourth-round match against Wolverhampton Wanderers and he was named in the team sheet originally, but that had to be changed just before kick-off.
Smith gave an update on why the 21-year-old was pulled, while discussing his availability ahead of their fixture on Wednesday against the Eagles.
"Fifty minutes before the game the doctor came to me and said Sarge is not feeling well. So we had to pull him out of the game. Fair play to Pzemy (Placheta) going in," Smith told the press.
"I am hoping (Sargent) will be okay for Wednesday because he was obviously looking forward to playing after that Watford game but he just did not feel well enough."
Sargent has played 19 times in the Premier League this season, scoring twice with both of those goals coming in their most recent fixture in the division against the Hornets.
