Norwich City will continue to be without Gary Hooper for this evening's League Cup tie against Bury.
The summer signing from Scottish champions Celtic has yet to turn out for the Canaries in a competitive fixture, having picked up a leg injury during a pre-season friendly.
Some reports had claimed that he could recover in time for tonight's match at Carrow Road, but manager Chris Hughton has revealed that the game has come "too soon" for the 25-year-old.
"It's a little too soon for Gary. He has improved the last few days but whether he trains in the early part of the week I don't know. We are more hopeful towards the latter part of the week that he can get involved in some training," Hughton is quoted as saying by the Eastern Daily Press.
Meanwhile, Sebastien Bassong and Anthony Pilkington are expected to return from their respective injuries against the League Two outfit.
