New Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has admitted that keeping the club in the Premier League is his main aim for the upcoming season.
The former Birmingham City boss took over at Carrow Road last month following the departure of Paul Lambert to Aston Villa.
With Lambert guiding the club to a 12th-placed finish last season, Hughton now hopes to secure the team's survival for another campaign.
"Every season is a tough season and we will be one of a group of eight to 10 teams whose biggest priority will be sustaining Premier League status, but you never know what is possible," he said.
"It was shown here last season in what the team was able to achieve, which surprised a lot of people, as did Swansea.
"Ultimately, though, all we want to do is make sure we sustain the progress the club has made and see where it takes us."
Norwich begin the new season with a trip to Fulham on Saturday, August 18.
